Department Establishment
In the present milieu, the important of English language becomes very important in almost all the sectors. The Department of English enables various viable practices to master the language competency. In order to quench the thirst for student interest in literature we help them to build their career in convergent avenues. The B.A was started in 2007, consequently M.A in 2010. The department paves the way for students to sharpen their language skills and literature knowledge as of equal to national and international standards.

We encourage the students to conduct various activity of their own. In the beginning of every academic year we conduct freshers’ day in order to create a good harmonial relationship between the students.
We have R.K Narayan literary association to enable the students to improvise their skills in various literary fields. This club enables the students to participants in the inter-college competition. We follow Tutor system through which we care individually for each and every student. Through this we help the students to improve their academics as well as to rectify their problems.
The department organizes National and Inter-National seminars every year to encourage the students to improve their interest and knowledge towards research skills. We enhance the helping tendency of the students through PIDIARISI scheme every year.
Our students also participate in NCC, NSS and Blood Donation Camp which also helps in explicating their helping tendency. We always boost our students to participate in various sports activity and stimulate them to become university players. We produce university rank holders.
