Our College crest is sacred combination of the Sun God, the ascending Garuda, the Book of Wisdom and a Blossoming Lotus Flower. The Sun denotes acute knowledge and wisdom, totally dispelling the utter darkness of ignorance. The Sun God is worshipped from the immemorial.  The Ascending Garuda symbolizes the high ideals that the students community should imbibe with perseverance and greater zeal.  It is also a staunch belief that Garuda is the vehicle of Lord Vishnu, God of perseverance among the Hindu Trinity.  The Book very well represents the incessant flow of knowledge and wisdom.  Saraswathi the God of learning is always holding the book in her hand as ornament to denote there is no limit to learning.   Lotus is a divine flower considered to be the abode of God Lakshmi.  Lotus is also our national flower it represents bhakti.  The sacred Sun and wavy water represents wisdom and action respectively. The crest also contains all the principal elements namely Prithivi (Earth), Appy (Water),  Thej (Agni), Vayu (Air) and Akash (Ether).

The college motto is taken from the Sacred Thirukural of Deivapulavar Thiruvalluvar which means “True knowledge controls thought and conduct and helps one keep to the right path”.  This must be our everlasting aim.
