DR.R.K.Shanmugam Educational Trust headed by Dr.K.MAKUDAMUDI, was formed by the service minded Doctors, Engineers and Philanthropist.  They have committed themselves to educate the rural and tribal people who are only dreaming of higher education.   They offer education at affordable cost to the economically poor and socially downtrodden who reside in and around Kallakurichi – Kalvarayan hilly region.  They have a Scholarship scheme to give financial support to the needy students as titled DR.R.K.SHANMUGAM EDUCATIONAL TRUST SCHOLARSHIP.
